Miss Millie

Swim To Success Private/Group Instructor

Millie has been swimming since as long as she can remember. When she was just 9 years old, she was already helping her mom as an assistant with swim lessons for some summer money. She would sit with the little kids on the pool step to make sure they stayed safe, while her mom worked individually with each child. In her teen years, she swam competitively for the Marlins Swim Team. Her favorite events were freestyle and breaststroke.

She has taught thousands of lessons over the years and is a certified lifeguard and certified Swim To Success teacher. Swimming has always been one of her favorite hobbies alongside skiing, hiking, music, and traveling.

Millie graduated from HHS in 2020 with her dental assisting degree and is working on her AS in Finance at SLCC on a full scholarship.

A fun fact about Millie is she loves sky diving and wants to become an certified instructor someday.

Miss Desiree

Swim To Success Private Instructor/Group Lessons

Desiree has been teaching swimming lessons for 6 years and loves Miss Kimberly’s Swim To Success program! Her strengths as a teacher lie in her experience teaching as well as her ability to assess a child's needs and think outside of the box on how to help them progress.

Desiree has always loved to swim! After a serious hamstring injury when she was 14, she turned to competitive swimming for fun and recovery when she could no longer dance or play basketball anymore. When she turned 16, she became certified in SSI and a lifeguard as well as joined the high school swim team. Eventually her skills grew and she worked as a Head Guard, Swimming Lessons Manager, Private Instructor, and Medical Assistant through high school and after graduation.

Desiree is a devoted and hardworking mom with two adorable little girls ages 6 and 4. She loves to bake fancy cakes, go to Disneyland, and be a mom!

A fun fact about Desiree is that she speaks Spanish and loves Latin dancing!
